Yesterday I went antiquing with my mother in Leesburg and rural points north (the REAL stix). Found a cute place across the street from the nice trailor park (as opposed to the narsty trailor park, on the other half of town, a whole half-block away). The whole antique store was so campy. It had such a happy, fresh feel to it. So many of these places are very stale feeling. This one was the total opposite, and the prices were so reasonable. They had lots of vintage clothing, cute stuff repainted. Next door was a yellow house with polka-dot shutters done to look like a shabby-chic fantasy. It was very fun. There was also a neat little equestrian-themed gift store in Leesburg that I liked. I wish I had a horse. :-(
